Lately my radio has this weird problem. Sometimes the first and last characters on the display are dimmer than the other ones. It seems to happen when the lights are on when I start the car, and then the lights turn off. It doesn't happen all the time, but I think these are the steps to recreate it:

1. Turn lights on.
2. Put key in ignition
3. Start car
4. Drive for a couple minutes
5. Turn lights off.

Here are a couple of pictures. The picture quality sucks, but you can kind of see what is going on. The dealer ordered a new display unit for the radio. I will have to get it put in one of these days.

Has this happened to anyone else?
