Get a double din kit and a Pioneer AVIC D3.

I disagree... I have a double DIN Kenwood setup with navi that is much nicer than the OEM pop-up navi and it plays movies, audio, too many other forms of media to list here... It fits flush and looks great, has a nice big screen, much bigger than the OEM navi... It also accepts modules to use ipods, hard drives, dvd changers etc. Whatever you want! I use the DVD, NAV & Ipod and love it.

I guess this will not work if you have a Carputer? I know you can hook up just the video but what about the Touch Screen?

You can hookup a Car Pc to the video inputs on the D3, but you will not retain the touch screen controls. there is no known way to do that yet.
