Head Unit Swap!!!!

I need to know EXACTLY what it will take to swap a Bose system from 2006 coupe into a non Bose 2005 Sedan. Did some searching but no complete answer. HELP! Need to know by tomorrow.

Why would you want to do that? The HU is essentially the same. You would be better served by adding an amp and better speakers to your OEM HU.

Premium System (aka BOSE) provides a ~225W BOSE amp, 6x9" BOSE speakers on the rear shelf. Stock HU is Clarion-branded (debatable to actually be a Clarion and/or non-amplified HU)

Non-Premium System (aka non-BOSE) does not have the amp or the 6x9"s. Stock HU is again debatably a Clarion-branded HU (which has been claimed to be mildly amplified d/t the fact that there is no BOSE amp)

Both systems have stock Nissan speakers in the front doors and the backseat side panels.

Stock HUs for the 05 and 06's should be the same (with the only difference of the HU maybe being amplified when there is no BOSE amp and not amplified when there is a BOSE amp)

I think the *sedan* Premium system adds a sub in the trunk right? (I have a coupe so I wouldn't know)

hope this helps...

Yes, the Bose in the sedan adds a subwoofer in the rear deck of about 8 inches in size instead of the coupe's dual 6x9 subs.
