aftermarket bluetooth kit

Who here has an aftermarket bluetooth kit for your car? If so what brand and model#?

Im looking into buying one, "Parrot 3200LS-color" to be percise.
http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/3200ls-color

Do any of you guys know if this bluetooth will be hard-wired to the HU/speakers or will it be using an FM/AM frequence?

thanks

The Moto HF850 is inexpensive, unobtrusive and does a fine job.

When I want to dial I use "voice dialing". When someone calls me, I can turn off the radio with my left thumb.

FM modulators are notoriously unreliable. Pulling the head unit just to get blue tooth seems like a real waste to me. (To each his own, however).

Good luck with whatever unit you install.

sure, i have it

the harness at parrotkits.com for the G is worth every penny (and not cheap). One of the reasons the harness is so expensive is that the little box is full of relays and a preamp. When you get a call, not only does it come thru the speakers completely crystal clear, but it maintains its own volume level, independent of the HU. You rarely have to fiddle with the Parrot volume once you have it where you like it. When I call someone, the music plays until it rings.. in between rings, the music comes back in. Very nice kit and with the harness, it's just amazing.

be happy to share some install tips, just pm or email me, I'm not in the section very often.

I also have some pics of the Parrot in my '04. See here.

I would agree that the custom harness is of great value. I ended up splicing into the Nav/HU mute and voice wiring to accomplish the same thing, but it wasn't trivial (also assumes you have Nav in the first place).

i also have the parrot 3200LS colour in my V35 here in australia
great device, worth every $$

i had mine installed professionally as the G35 harness isn't guaranteed to be the same (the wiring in the V35 is very different) but came to the same effect. if i had a G35 i would be the harness 100% guarantee, then it becomes a self-install procedure!
