GTech Competition Pro

I just thought I'd post a screen shot of the GTech Comp Pro software (that lets you upload run data from the device to your computer). The device itself could not be easier to operate and the software is sweet.

It doesn't actually launch for you, i.e. wheel spin is still a *big* problem.

Re: GTech Competition Pro

Aside from improving my 60ft time, the other thing I need to do is fine a totally empty road (or better yet an open track) because I wasn't willing/able to keep on the pedal into 4th gear.

As you can see if you look at the graph, once I got to the end of 3rd, I just put the car in neutral and coasted so my 1/8th mile time isn't necessarily accurate.

Re: GTech Competition Pro

I bought it on eBay--but you can get them many different places. My understanding is that they are very accurate--keep in mind that I have a supercharger on my car so 5.1 isn't as fast as it sounds.

Nice, it seems like you can easily get under 5 seconds in your zero to sixty. Definitely M3 territory. Good job.

Re: GTech Competition Pro

Zimbo, I've heard these units are very good and user friendly. Have you got a link to their website, and what did you pay for yours on eBay?

Re: GTech Competition Pro

I paid $200.00 for a slightly used unit in mint condition. The web site is www.gtechpro.com. If you buy the unit, be sure to download and install the latest firmware.
