Anyone know where I can buy the housing or the navi screen alone. I know that mp3.com sell something similar but it's not mortorize. I've checked on ebay but that sell the whole navi setup and I'm only looking for the screen. Thanks in advance.

hey g-rated.. I know this has probably come up sometime in the past postings, but is it possible to just install the motorized screen and then hook it up to an external GPS nav system like a tom tom or garman. I really like the look of the motorized LCD screen and don't mind if it doesn't give me current odomoter or fuel readings. Because you have to tear apart the whole dash to wire up the OEM nav system right?

You just need to get any LCD screen with composite inputs and you can use this Garmin module, this will give you navi with a remote which means no touchscreen controls. its an easy solution, but installing a double din is not much more work, but adds alot of great features especially if you are going to put in a stereo.

Well I spoke to a stereo install shop about trying to install just the motorized lcd screen and he said that it would be really really difficult to try and do it and it would be about 15 to 20 man hours at $65 an hour to do. this doesn't even include installing the nav unit and wiring harnesses. Is it that difficult to install the motorized lcd screen?

I thought that might be the case. If I get an 05 navi system and put it into my 04 sedan can I swap out the controls and screen top to match the willow interior?
