non-bose audio question (sub in deck)

I have a 06 g35 sedan and would like to somehow add a speaker in my truck where the premium bose based sound system has the sub. I believe the bose in the sedan uses a single 8" woofer in the rear deck. How easy would it be to install a 8" woofer in the same location ( I know I'd have to make a cutout in the rear deck carpeting and fab a grill...or my just get one off of a bose-based g35? In addition I would have get a single channel amp to power it. I guess the real questions are 1. Has anyone done this before? and 2. Is the speaker wire already in the trunk area? I don't want ground shaking bass, but I want more than what the stock setup provides.

Thanks in advance.
