I had a Mio c310x the customer support for MIO is horrible not to mention how they handle updates. i ordered a update CD from them was told i would get it 7-14 days and got it 6 weeks later, every time i called them they didn't know where my update was and was told they had no way of checking the status of the order. My uncle had the same model and his update CD took 7 weeks. I replaced the Mio with the tomtom one 3rd edition and love it so far and they have great customer service.

Check out gpsmagazine.com. It's the best site out there for GPS reviews.

If you're looking for a great deal - i.e. loss-leader pricing - then checkout the Black Friday deals from various big box stores.
