Thanks pinks. I went to the new CC in Signal Hill (off of Atlantic next to Home Depot).
CC charged me $59.99, much cheaper than the quote I got from Best Buy ($130

I routed the cig. lighter charger cable from the arm rest into the cubby area. My TomTom 910 has a dock so all the cables (power, ext. mic, and line out) connect directly to the dock. At first, I thought having all these cables connected to the dock was very troublesome but after doing this mod I just have to detach/attach the unit onto the dock when I enter/leave the car. No messing with connecting the wires.
PS. I also have the PAC NIS adapter connected to the stock HU and using the line out feature from the dock to output sound through the car speakers.
I so want to do this to my 06 sedan. I even went to Circuit City today, but the car electronics service guy said he doesn't have anyone experienced enough to work on my car. I think i could do this install, but if i mess it up, there goes my warranty coverage.
btw. I have a garmin 660

Either you guys are all brave or the Circuit City and Best Buy stores out west have much better installers!
New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland, not a Circuit City or Best Buy I have been to will even touch a G for after market A/V or Navi...
I must have been to 20 different stores in this area and I can see the techs in the garage shaking their heads whenever a sales guy has gone into the shop to ask about installations on a G.

I'm not a guru on GPS, but if you installed the PAC NIS device (i'm guessing it's the PAC AAI-NIS2), do you need a GPS that has audio output to run it to the audio input on the PAC NIS device?
I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 750 (the 4.3" widescreen one) and used velcro backing to attach it to the cubby door. Then I removed the shift ****, center console cover, driver side center console side pillar thing, etc.....then ran a looooong cigarette adapter plug from the cubby back to the adapter plug in the center armrest
NOTE: I have a 2006 coupe.
I will post pictures as soon as i have time to upload them. But the wire is hidden from the cubby....under the panels...and back to the armrest. Very clean look...u dont see any wires.

Just wire it up behind the trim panels.
