My car got broken into 2 nights ago and they stole the navi system with the head unit also. what im wondering is if anybody has installed an aftermaket flip up or something that i can buy the your old 1. i will be willing to trade for a dell laptop computer

 

Who steals factory navs? Sorry to hear about your loss. If I were you, I'd just get it replaced under insurance if possible. Then, install an aftermarket alarm with two way pagers and responders with a range of 1 mile or greater.

If not, don't go with flip screen. With the dash kits offered for the G35, a double din will look much cleaner. Flip screens look cheap and once they're up, they block your reach to your a/c buttons. To avoid blocking your a/c buttons, you can put the screen on the bottom half of the double din, but then your screen will probably hit your shifter. So, screw flip screens. Double dins are nicer.
