Adding Sub Amp - Power Wiring ? ? ?
I've just upgraded all my stock speakers to Infiniti Kappa speakers and the improvement is fantastic, however, i need to add a sub or two for the low end.
I was planning on adding a sub enclosure in the back with either a single or dual 10" sub arrangement with its own dedicated amplifier.
My question is, what is everyone doing for power? Is there a large gauge stock power bus cable going to the factory amplifier in the rear, or is it bettery to run my own cable?
Thanks

You have to run your own cable. The power wires going to the Bose amp are small (because the Bose amp doesn't put out any real power).
There is a big rubber grommet behind the battery at the firewall. Run the power cable from the battery, through the grommet, down the right side of the car and into the trunk to your amp. Use silicone to seal the grommet around the power wire so water doesn't enter.
