Just like everyone else that has an 03, my HU got the dreaded error message. I bought a 04 head unit from someone on the site thinking there would be no problem. His hu was from a non navigation 04. My car is an 03 with navigation. anyway, i hooked up the 04 in my car today and when I turn on the power on the radio and satellite buttoms work, however, I get nothing from the tape or cd buttons!!!!!!! The only thing I can think is that its not working b/c I used the orginal display face from my 03 so everything would match up. Do I have to use the 04 display face with the 04 hu? any other ideas?

 

alright well its not the 04 display unit. I plugged that into the hu and still no cd or tape. could it be a simple plug is loose or is the hu just garbage?
