Remote Start with Stock Remote

Exclamation Remote Start with Stock Remote

I have an 05 coupe and I was wanting to kno if anybody added remote start and can use there stock remote with it. I just want the remote start not a whole system.

You can do it, but the limited range of the stock system makes it a last resort option.

Most aftermarket systems can replace every button on the stock remote, and improve range considerably.

My dealer did it (for whatever reason they add it to all cirtified cars) ... and the range does suck ( i would say 80 ft or so)

80 feet? You might as well start using the key. I just finished the install this past weekend. Good luck, you'll appreciate it when it's all said and done.
