If I buy the oem xm kit from grubbs ($295), which comes with a two wire antenna connect, can I buy a micro antenna and use a splitter as all the micro antennas are a single wire? Has anyone done this? Thanks

Yes, you will be able to do what you are describing. I am going to consider doing the same thing when Terk release its new nano-antenna next month (not much bigger than a quarter).
