Speaker Adapters

Hey everybody i just got a new G35 sedan. I want to get new Speakers, do i need Speaker adapters for the all the all the speakers or just the front? Thanks.

You need 3/4" or 1" spacers for all 4 speakers. either size will work but you might need the 1" if you choose a deep mounting speaker.

I havent looked at the rears but on my fronts I used infiniti kappas and I reused the plastic stock speaker holder, worked for me. But i heard of the spacers and most people use them or just drill new holes

I've got Alpine TypeR components up front and coaxials in the rear and needed spacers to fit both comfortably.

Another reason to use spacers is to place the speaker to the back of the door panel so there is no space between the cone and the panel.

Does the 6x9 need a spacer? And where can i buy these, i can't find them anywhere.

never mind dumb question. But will 6.5 infinity Components fit for all my speakers besides the 8".

I assume you have the Bose system? 6.5 components up front and 6.5 coaxials in the rear doors.

Thanks. What is the difference between components and coaxials. And is eBay the best place to get the spacers.

Basically speaking, coaxials have the tweeter mounted on the speaker while components have a separate external crossover and tweeter.
