has anyone heard anything about these speakers? one of my friends told me he could get me the 6.5" components for $220. any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

That is a good price.. I think they're like $500+ normal or something, I could be wrong. Anyway, the sound quality is excellent from these speakers. They're a step down from the Q-lines, but for the money, you get a lot of speaker. I would advise going to listen to them for yourself, as everyone thinks this/that speaker sounds better or worse.

I dont understand how you guys are fitting these in your cars. just like the focals. where do you put the 3rd speaker? i had to use the sucky reference series...well, plus my audio dealer lied to me. bastard. DONT GO TO KEMBO in San Gabriel. bastards.
