Speaker comes on and off

I have a 04 g35x and I have a pioneer avic z1. I noticed after about a year now that my front right passenger side speaker turns on and off periodically. I was going to take off the door panel and see if its a loose connection. I dont think its from the HU a loose connection. Ive read that the stock HU was replaced under warranty because it was a known issue. This is happening with my aftermarket HU. If I turn my volume sometimes it will turn the speaker back on. Also when i balance the sound from left to right and up and down. My front passenger side speaker you can barely hear it playing when the volume is up. Is the speaker going bad? These bose speakers sucked in the beginning anyways. It was always kind of staticy playing some songs and especially like hard rock like slipknot with those drums.

I'm going to move this to the audio section, you should get more help there.

do you have the stock speakers? if so i dont think this will be covered under warranty, so you may have to pay to have the problem fixed...

Its stock speakers and what is really the problem? Everything worked fine for about a year with the z1. I know since i changed to aftermarket, they dont cover under warranty, since HU is connected to speakers. Is the speaker going bad?

It appears that you have a loose or corroded connection since it is intermittent with the power you send to the speaker and bumps in the road.

How is your Z1 connected to the Bose system? RCA's, LOC? It could also be a problem with the bose amp.

so i guess i will check the connection from the actual speaker in the door panel, but then i will have to look behind the HU again, so i have to take off the center console. I have no idea whats connected to the bose system. I know i have a scosche bose adapter so i can use the stock amp with the aftermarket radio. It works fine sometimes, but as soon as i do sharp turns sometimes the music shifts to the left speaker and when i go over bumps.

Did you check anything to see what could be wrong?
