My last headunit, which is number 5 btw ate my CD's. So I went out and bought a replacement headunit from a member on the forums. As far as I know it works fine. It will play and eject CD's fine. But I cant get it to work with the faceplate/counsel on. It ejects and tries to load the CD too high. Once I get a CD in there and try to eject, since its ejecting too high its hitting the back of the faceplate/counsel,

I know I installed it right, took it apart and reinstalled it to make sure.

 

Is the new HU the same year style as yours? 03-04 are the same and 05-07 are the same.

 

Its the same style It has a build date of Jan 03
