I plan to take my CD changer out and sell it along with the trunk liner. Here is the link to it on eBay if anyone is interested.

my question is....is there any thing i should do once i unplug the CD changer? like tape off the plug...etc.?

It should just be a harness, but to be safe, tape it off with some electrical tape.
