Exclamation Bose 6 disc Changer Problem

Hey guys...
Well I have been recently having quite some difficulty with my Bose 6 disc in dash changer. For some reason it won't eject any discs nor play any.

Literally the same day in the morning it was working fine, but later on without touch nothing but changing changer number selection it started trying to eject, and following it asks to push eject button, then it says eject all but all it does is make a sound like it's trying to but nothing is going on.

Any one have any idea's??

It's common for the CD changers to jam. Get it replaced under warranty or change over to a DD head unit.

But with that DD Head Unit, am I still able to have my Nav? Cause I have thought on multiple occassions about putting in one, but I thought it'd screw up my a/c controls and more importantly the nav w/sat radio.

Do you got any idea's on that Man?

You may lose the navi voice, but everything else will work. There may be a way to keep the navi voice, but I've never dealt with it personally.

From some older threads I've read (I forget who the OP was) you'll lose navi voice unless you wire up an independant speaker for it.

Persaonally the navi voice annoys the crap out of me and I usually just drive without it.

Yeah the navi voice isn't so much of an issue.

Just it amazes me how the damn thing Jammed itself. I'm gonna have to have to get a whole new DD din since the one I got fits this. Other than maybe the flat screen I may put in and a wiring harness, do I need to do anything else to make sure that everything works other than navi voice??

I'm not sure on the wiring harness part. Hopefully somone more knowledgeable will chime in to help you out.

I actually have the same exact issue you do with my cd player (it jammed the same day my driver side window motor went out). I'm going a slightly different route though. Since I have an extra Mac Mini I'm not using I decided to install a touch DD kit and custom mount a 7" touch screen there to control it.
