How is your aftermarket Navi mounted? *Please Include Pics*

I'm in the market for an aftermarket navigation system and I was wondering how some of you guys mounted them in your car?

I want to see how clean (or not) it'll look when I buy my system (most likely garmin nuvi).

My tomtom is mounted in the upper cubby using velcro. It opens and closes with it attached to its very convenient and stealthy

I cut a two-by-four the correct size and angle to fit into the compartment in the center dash above the stereo. Then I painted it and screwed the connector piece supplied with my new Magellan Maestro 4250 into the wood. The GPS unit clips in and out of the attached connector piece. Then I ran the wires from inside the dash up into that compartment. Very clean installation and works perfectly.

In my sedan, I have my Garmin 2720, which is a larger unit than the Nuvis, mounted in the cubby too.

Does the job for me and it's really sturdy.

Here's my setup.
As pictured above mine is mounted with velcro in the cubby. It is hard wired to the back of the radio via a female cigarette plug. Circuit City hooked this up for me when I got my USA Spec PA11-NIS iPod adapter installed. Its easily removable and I store it in the center console when parked out in public.

My Magellan 4000 sits in the cubby too, but without velcro. The unit fits in there pretty snug.
