So I just purchased a 03 red g35, no later than a week a dent and I got rear ended, But My question is that my air bag light is now on intermittently*, what I want to know is what is the common cause and how much to get it fixed???

welcome to the boards and heres how to fix. shut your doors and turn the switch on watch the light. when it goes out turn the switch off. then immediately back on. Do this three times . on the fourth leave the switch on and watch the light.. If it flashes a code. write it down. if not the light should go out in a few seconds. Good luck and let me know if it works.

Possibly or it may just be the sensor...

bring it in to get the code scanned, only way to tell...

if they dont link the accident to the light, hopefully it will still be covered under warranty...

if not, give me a call with the parts you need for the best price...

I assume you'll be taking the car to the body shop right? Because the light and the accident are directly related, you tell the shop to fix it and bill the insurance. You don't want to reset the sensor if it's actually faulty.
