Question What all Do i need to put to install a 7'' monitor CD player

Im thinking of getting a double din Cd player. I have an 04 sedan w/o the Boss HU. I understand I need one of these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33695

The auction says I have to buy a JDM A/C controller, so I assume thats sold separate?? I did a ebay search for it but I didnt find anything.

Also Im fairly happy with my stock speakers, If anything I may want a tad more base. Could I buy a sub and amp to go with the new CD player AND my current stock speakers? Or do I also have to replace those?

If I do have to replace them, what size and how many are they ( I assume its 6 speakers) and what brands do you guys recommend? Im not really into thumping my music so I can be heard a block away. I prefer loud yet crisp as possible music. Like the Boss OEM system I had on my J30, I really liked it altought it lacked a little bit of base.

Thanks

The eBay listing says it's selling both the finisher AND the AC unit.
But, I'd recommend PM'ing Jason@Riverside. He works at Riverside Infiniti and offers OEM parts at discounts to forum members.

Some aftermarkets headunits come with a small amp built in.
When I installed a Pioneer AVIC-D3, my stock speakers had a lil' more punch to it.

As for parts you need just to get the unit installed and functioning, you'll need that kit, a Nissan wire harness, and Nissan antenna adapter.

Then there are extras like rear view cameras, satellite radio/traffic, GPS/Navigation, PAC-SWI PS (maintain steering wheel controls), bluetooth, iPod integration, voice recognitions, etc.

I see. I just looked up the prices and it seems its not that much for all I want. I wasn't able to find the GPS/NAV adapter tho. What is the exact name of that component.

If you get a Pioneer AVIC-D3, it's a headunit with GPS/NAV included.

Whatever floats your boat buddy.
Helped someone out here in this thread. Maybe there's some info in there you can use.
