Infinity Kappa Install....SOUNDS $HITTY

Well in FA forum I was asking for help on a speaker install. I decided to give it up and pay the 125 for Tweeters (bryn mawr stereo) to do it. They installed the pioneer amp and my escort detector last week and did what I thought was a decent job until today... I am driving home from work on the way to their shop and the two map lights just fall out of the freaking ceiling. I figure they took them out to get power for the detector. Then the little mute/warning module that comes with the hard wire kit falls off. Ok, I am getting a little worried but figure no big deal they will take care of it. So I mention it to them when I take the car in they said they would take care of it. 3 hours later they pull the car out (5 minutes before closing) and I pay up. THE CAR SOUNDS LIKE AN OLD AM RADIO WITH A BLOWN SPEAKER!!! I just don't understand. I know the speakers aren't the most expensive in the world but the bose speakers with the pioneer amp sounded sooo much better. The sound now is distorted and has no base at all. I went out to check the amp and make sure the settings weren't off and what do I find?? All of the plastic clips for the deck lid just rolling around in the trunk with the carpeting half hanging down. The crossovers were put in such a place that you couldn't even lift it back up. What the hell was this guy thinking? They didn't even fix the other things that I had mentioned.
What do I do? And is it possible that these speakers just suck?? I thought they were pretty descent. Could they all be wired in the wrong polarity??
Any ideas would be appreciated. Do you think I can ask for some money back?? This is ridiculous. AGGHH!!

Ouch. I'd be demanding that they fix it. If they've ruined some speakers, they need to replace them. Sounds like shoddy workmanship to me, and it needs to be addressed. You may want to consider taking some pictures of the poor workmanship before going in again in case you have to battle them for repairs and/or a refund in the future.

Take picutes of everything. If they give you the run around or try to charge you more money to fix there screw ups, you will have to take them to court.

I agree with Pesti...check the polarity of the speakers. If they can't install, they can't be trusted to put the Pos. wire on the pos terminal-You know what I mean Get pictures of everything and geta witness to all other dealings with these people.
