NEWBIE here - what is this PAC interface, and how to wire up ipod?

NEWBIE here - what is this PAC interface, and how to wire up an ipod to my OEM head unit. I have pretty much decided that I am not going to go the double-din route, as I will need to then rip apart my doors to replace the bose speakers to be comptable with my aftermarket headunit & amp, and I just do not want to take the time/effort/money to do this.

Does anyone know the correct part # or item that I should buy to simply plug and play an Ipod into my OEM head unit? This is for a 2003 G35 coupe w/ Nav.

Thanks

Get the USA Spec thing from Crutchfield. It's the best option out there, for about $120. I got it and couldn't be happier. It's a 15 minute install for someone who's done it before. But it took me almost 30 minutes the first time I tried it.

Make sure you remove your CDs from the deck before you pull out the radio and tilt it around...the CDs can get stuck if you leave them in there.

This kinda deal for peeps in Hawaii are few & far between!

The FREE guides are pretty damn hokey... it's like Installation 101 the cliffnotes version but, hey it's icing on the cake as far as i'm concerned. It may make decent enough reading for 1 sitting on the throne (if ya know what i mean)

anywho, i hope this helps some fellow forumers...
