is there any way to fit this thing into the g35 coupe's trunk? i tried takin out the spare, and removing the 2 side plastic pieces and it still will not go in, i was wondering if i get a smaller box, will it be ok? its in a ported box for that sub, maybe i can get the car place to build me another box, just a lil smaller so i can get it into the trunk?

if i have to go with custom work, how much around would it cost to get 1 12" sub custom fitted into the trunk? not sure cuz this is an SPL sub and requires a lot of air space i think, and its meant to be in a ported box, so not sure how they're spose to mount it other than a box... please offer any suggestions plz...

 

hello: i think you need let them make one for you, i think that hcca needs something like 2.25 cube feet in ported box which is insane for the G's trunk, either you can have them fiberglass the trunk wihch means you wont have spare, or made the box out of MDF (at least 1/2 inch thick, 3/4 would be good) have the sub firing up so the box would not be too high(24 wide,12 high,18 deep just an exsample)

as far for the cost? dont really know, it depands where you go, but i think for simple wood box, covered with whatever they have in the store, it sould not be much over 100, for fiberglass? that will depand on how deep of pocket you've got! cus there are just too many way you can do with fiberglass, it could be three hundren for either top or bottom side, to three thousand for whole trunk...s.w.
