I seen a pic of a car here where an aftermarket in-dash radio w/ 7" LCD screen was installed along with the Bose HU (the aftermarket radio was actually installed in the upper cubby compartment where the nav screen is located on vehicles that have this option).
Can this actually be done?
Is there any special wire harness required or do you just splice into the car's existing wires?

 

just wanted to add that if this can be done with an aftermarket deck with a single Din connection..

 

It's all custom.

 

yeah i got a dvd player in the little glove coparment above the reg comparment..its wireless and goes through the radio... got a clarion monitor in the cubby hole for video along with the bose head unit..
