G35 Speakers stopped working

I have a brand new (2 week old) G35. I was just sitting in the parking lot, stereo was playing. Turned the car off, back on. Stereo stopped working --- more specifically, the speakers stopped working.

It appears that the entire stereo system still works... I can pick songs from my IPOD, they seem to be playing ,I can adjust the volume, I can play the radio, I just don't hear anything from the speakers .... outside of the beep which seems to come from the instrument cluster.

Any thoughts.... I just want to make sure I didn't hit the super secret mute button by mistake or something.

I've heard of some problems with G35's and speakers, I'm wondering if this is it, and if there is any additional information on the problem.

Thanks!

Michael

Update.... Started working again for no apparent reason. Hope this isn't one of those crazy intermittent problems.

Can't be a fuse, started working again by itself.
Doubtful its a loose wire, car has been standing still.

Any other thoughts?

It's worse when it's an intermittent problem because it makes it more difficult for the dealer to reproduce. It's not a normal occurence for the radio to do that.
