just installed w205! but need help

well, i just had a shop install the alpine iva-w205, and i just simply love it. easy to use, works well, can't complain about the navi, ipod works great, sound quality when hooked up to the ipod is superb. BUT, when it comes to the radio, its CRAP!

when i switch to the radio, almost every station that should have good signal is all static. for instance, 102.7kiis fm, power 106 (105.9). those are the main two that are crap. 99.1 fm, use to be one of the worst channels when i had my factory radio in. now its the cleanest, why is this?

how do i fix this problem? should i just take it back to the shop since its lifetime warranty on installation? or try to fix it myself?

Take it back to the shop.

Make sure they connected the power antenna wire because even though there is no power antenna, there is apparently an antenna booster that needs to be turned on.

the antennae needs to be hooked up...don't let the shop talk you into a antennae booster, it just amplifies the trash
