Recommend me a 10" sub
Recommend me a 10" sub
I currently have a 10 kicker cvr is a ZENclosure sealed box in my coupe. Im pushin 250watts rms from a RF punch amp. The Bass is loud, but its not clean! Theres a slight delay between the music and bass, and it sucks. Do you guys think its my sub that sucks, or the amp?
I love my alpine type R sub, its perfect clarity and perfect loudness (500/1500W)
before you go buying a sub, i would check what air volume and port youre sub needs, cause youre setup will SUCK if youre off by even 1-2 ft^3. PM me if you need more info.

Also, I would never recommend running a RF Punch series amplifier at 2 ohms. They have not proven to be 2 ohm stable. The Power series, however, are.
Image dynamics IDQv3. Doesnt need much power to sound great, but will take more power if you ever decide to upgrade your amp. Not to mention they are one of the mostl tonal and accurate speakers i have ever heard, and can get pretty loud,, for the money. IM putting two idqv3 12's in mine with 1200 watts for them.

I believe retail on the ID10V3 is ~$150 and it will work well with your 250RMS considering the sub calls for an RMS of (50W - 400W)

Even better for an idq. The 10" only has a 5" mounting depth and requires as little as .5 cu ft.
second
I second the IDQ 10"... that sub is a great choice if you want clean bass... I've used Image dynamics numerous times and have never been more pleased as far as price/performance... that sub should work well with the zenclosure, or else i would use a jl audio w3
