Need Some Audio Help!!!

I'm trying to get a custom sealed box built for a 10W7 without sacrificing the spare. Wondering if anyone else has done the same with good results. My audio installers are proposing a fiberglass application which adds $300 to reclaim air space on the sides or to go with a 10W6v2 that will mount to the side and dig in to the empty airspace left of the spare where the factory amp used to be. Need some advice fast.

Thanks,

Re: Need Some Audio Help!!!

I would guess they are thinking of going with a rear side install of the sub similar to what I have done. I had all my amps install where the spare is so the spare came out. but if you removed the black plastic piece covering the bose stock amp and install the sub in the corner it would fit. The depth of my trunk is the same as stock. If i didnt have the amps installed there the tire could have remained. but then the issue is where do the amps go ... anyway, if you dont have any issue with were to put the amps then have a look at the sub box pictures they did for me.
