This is the shop I used to do the install. Out of fairness to Jimmy, I'll say his rate was very reasonable and the job was excellent. If you're in the area, I'd call him directly.

I'm still using the Bose amp for another couple of weeks until I get the Boston unit.

The Nav antenna was located in a small cubby behind the temp display panel. Jimmy knew right where to look for it. The reception is excellent.
are you talking about running the boston pro60s speakers or a boston amp?

Boston amp through Infinity Perfects up front and Kappas on the rear sides. I haven't decided on a rear deck speaker yet.

are your new speakers a direct replacement in the factory locations? I have been researching and found that some people have "pods" or "kick panels" for better sound or staging as they call it. Does it not sound good putting new speakers in the same places the factory ones were in the doors? I would really like to know this. Also I plan on running the boston pro 60s and a 100.2 sundown amp with a jvc avx800 as the headunit. any thoughts?

Can you post any pictures of where you got your GPS antenna mounted.

Just got my D3 installed too. 2 problems though. 1 is that the GPS antenna isn't connected and 2 is that ipod vids won't play on the screen. I have audio but no video for the vids.

I fixed both problems. Had to take apart the dash and click the antenna wire in and switch the video settings to TV out on.

i assume you have the bluetooth (CD-BTB200)? if you do, where do you mount the bluetooth?
also, do you have to take off the glove box to do the wiring?....

Bluetooth module fit nicely in the console under the D3 HU. When you take the OEM HU out you'll see the space I'm referring to and sorry I didn't take a picture of that. The glove box does need to come out to remove the side cover on the console.

Here's a pic of the D3 and GEX-P10XMT antennas located in the dash behind the temp display. Reception is great.

The GEX-P10XMT module installed in the center console under the arm rest. The pic shows the module partially visible so you get anidea of where it mounts. The module actually pushes completely back under the console and can't be seen. Truly a perfect fit.
