I just got a free amp/sub from my friend and all i need is an enclosure. I wasn't planning to add subs or do any custom setups, but since it's free, I might as well put it in. Does anyone know of a generic enclosure that I could order that would fit in the car? It's 1 12 inch sub. I've looked at Zenclosures and 4080s. Zenclosures I don't like because they take up half the trunk and if I had to transport smth bigger and fold down the seats, i'd have a problem. 4080s are just too expensive. So does anyone know of a generic box that I could order online or buy at a store? (don't have the tools or the time to make one)

p.s what is the height of the space in the trunk if anybody knows off top..gonna measure it when get off work.

4080 won't fit a 12 anyway.

 

it's a 12 inch audiobahn sub..not sure about the other specs since right now its in a ghetto home made enclosure that woont even fit in the trunk..

yeah i kno 4080 dont make enclosures for 12s....so anyone have ideas for a solution? also, the reason i dont wanna get Zenclosures is cuz i dont want anything permanent like that for now since i am planning to go with either 2 12s or 2 10s later on..For now i wanna put this in. What and where can i get a generic box that'd fit?

 

if your going to put 2 12's in later your going to have to remove your spare. if you have triple aaa just remove spare now then im sure you generic box will fit. you can take out the spare, all the jack stuff, and those two huge plastic things that make our trunks so dang tiny and your trunk will be like twice as deep. i did this yesterday and will be putting my 2 12 w6v2's in very very soon
