Navigation speaker wiring?

I own an 05, G35 with Navigation and this weekend I am planning to install a DD HU. I have all the components to do the job (thanks to some excellent posting by the members of this forum), however, one issue that eludes me is that I will loose the navigation voice once I go to this aftermarket HU. To this point, the only thing that I have seen is to use seperate speakers for the navigation system. Instead, what I would like to find out, is if there is any possibility to utilize the exisitng wiring to get around this problem?
I was hoping there was a wiring diagram that would shed some light on this but nothing is coming up for me.

Will your new HU support the line-level input from the Nav? How? And what about muting your new HU?

I think the best solution is to use the mute signal from the Nav, employing a relay, because it does not use standard mute protocol - i.e. connect to ground. Then install a separate amplified speaker unit (e.g Radio Shack Model: 277-1008), powered from an ignition source, and connected to the Nav audio line-level output.

You can find these signals (mute, line audio) and the wire colors in the FSM.

If you do this, document it and make a DIY. It would help a lot of people.
