Viper 5002 alarm problems

i have a Viper 5002 alarm. it has a mind of it's own. it keeps going off, telling me my trunk/hood is open, and my warn away goes on too. what is casuing this problem? i adjust my sensitivity level and it still happens. i had a Prestige alarm prior to my Viper and it was doing the same thing. at first i thought it was the Prestaige alarm itself, so i went with Viper. thanks in advance...

what car is it on, and how long after you arm the viper for it to go off?

did you use relays to isolate the door pins and hood/trunk pins? well maybe not the hood pin because you get that from the pin switch. did you use diodes on your connections for the door, hood, trunk pins?the reason for that is because on our car the BCM goes into a power save mode after 10 or 15 mins i believe to save power; therefore cause the alarm to think that it was triggered. if that's not the cause then maybe it's a bad module.

if this was professionally installed then they should have known of this problem. when it goes into power save mode and set off the alarm it actually wakes up the car and goes back to power save mode again after a period of time.
