My climate control and radio are acting funny?

My climate controls have a mind of there own controls and lights on the radio went out. The temp got stuck on 87 blowing at the feet with the AC on. I can’t shut it off!

Has this happen to anyone else?

quite a few members have this problem... i think your local infiniti dealer is your only way to have it fixed... you could do some searching to see if anyone has found a way to fix without the dealer...

Your circuit board is messed up. Take it to the dealer and they will fix it under warranty.

I'm having the same problem. Just haven't had a chance to take it over to the dealer yet.

hey I am having the exact same problem. However, mine is stuck at 80 and 75 (dual climate control). I have an 03 Sedan, I'm really guessing I have no warranty with 114000 miles

Is this a part I can get myself? I can more then likely get it installed no problem.

I took my G into the dealer and like anything else the displays and controls worked fine. The said "we have to see it work improperly in order to fix it under warranty." SO they did nothing to fix it. I guess I will haev to wait till the thing is really messed up before I can get it fixed. What a pain in the a$$!!

I've actually posted the same post a while ago and since did lots of research. basically, its the 03's that have this issue, its not a recall but a bulletin (which means the dealer will most likely not fix it for free unless you have warranty that covers)...

The problem could be the radio unit itself OR the circuit board. (turns out on this model, the audio and ac share the same circuit board... what a BAD idea!)... which means, the dealer will most likely change out your audio unit first, if that doestn' correct the problem, they will then change out the circuit board. all of this can cost a pretty penny if its not under warranty. I've talked to a certain service guy at the dealer and he says, there's something he can do to the circuit board itself (tweak it somehow) to fix the problem, hence saving us lots of money (so another option to think about).

one last thing. i haven't fixed mine yet, BECAUSE i noticed when i took all the CD's out of the changer, audio and ac works just fine. i'm keeping my fingers crossed, i'm hoping it will continue working fine w/ the CD's out, i'm ok w/ sacraficing CD's for a properly functioning audio/ac unit, i mean who still listens to CDs anyway

I just experienced the same problem on my 03 6MT Sedan... Temp is stuck on Auto A/C to 60 degs; the lights on the climate buttons are out and the radio does not work... Taking to dealer on Friday...
