Plug N Play Speakers

Ok, I can't stand this Blose junk anymore. I have an 04 x Sedan with the "premium" (what a joke) package. I mostly listen to FM classic rock at moderate levels, but I sometimes like to blast Kashmir, Great Gonzos, Blackout, even some Eminem and Ludacris once in a while. I need the high end for Eddie's and Uncle Ted's licks and some tight bass for Alex's sadistic drum beating. All on a budget!!!

First step is new front speakers. What are some good components that I can just drop into the front doors?

I'll just power them from the Bose amp for now, but I have a 4x85 amp I'll probably put in this summer. So they need to be able to handle a little power.

Re: Plug N Play Speakers

OK, maybe an easier question.

Will the POLK db6500 components fit in my G35x?

The tweeter has a surface mount depth of 1.006 inches. Will these just drop into the factory locations???

p.s. Don't any of you listen to Uncle Ted?????
