What I hate about our G35!!

Love my G but I just have one complaint.
It would be nice if our car comes with a info screen for gas mileage range, trip time, and etc...
Even my old 04 maxima base had an info screen. I know that the new g35 has a info screen next to the guages.

Does the stock navi. on the G has an info screen? if so can i install the stock navi. and will the info screen work?? i love how the stock navi. pops up..

thanks alot guys..

Factory Nav should have those features.
You can refit your car with Factory Nav, but only a few have done it.
It's pretty complicated unless you know where to wire everything up.
Plus, it's hard to find someone selling the nav. You'll have to buy pieces of it.
Unless you want to spend well over $3000 and ordering directly from a dealership or Nissan.

Have fun with that.

Yes the Stock Navi has the fuel info, oil change, filter change fuel eco. etc. Ye sthe stock navi can also work on non navi cars... with some work. Do a search on navi swaps and you will find the answer to what you need.

I thought it was a bit strange at first that my '06 x didn't have an onboard computer but to be honest I'd rather not know the gory details of my gas mileage. I'm just happy to get out and drive my G

Good luck with the nav retrofit if you go that route.

Jin, I have your info screen right here (print this post and tape it to your dash):

drive fast - poor gas mileage
drive slow - better gas mileage
trip time - your G has a clock on the dash, or buy a $30 watch with a stopwatch built-in
range - if your fuel gauge is at 1/4 or lower, put gas in it
oil change interval - use your trip odometer and reset it every 3000 miles or so when you change the oil
don't know where you're going? - buy a Garmin or TomTom for like $400

There. I just saved you approximately $2570 vs. an OEM Navi system, not including install.
