Quick question..750w Amp = safe?

I have a kicker ZX750.1 ("certified @ 833") with a 4guage amp kit, its GREAT so far... i did notice my dome lights slightly dim when it hits. Am I in any danger damaging my electrical system or alternator/battery ?
Thanks!

Okay.
With a 750 watt amp is there anything that I could potentially cause damage to?

You'll probably shorten your car's battery life and alternator life, but as long as you dopn't short anything out, nothing else is in danger. I would recommend a capacitor though.

capacitors are just band aids for poor charging systems and only make problems worse. I would go with an optima yellow top first, and a grounding kit for your engine bay, that should definetly help. And just so you know im not some 17 year old telling ur this advice, i used to compete =]

I would look into adding the "big 3" grounding upgrades to your system before trying anything else

+1. This with the addition of a battery such as an Optima yellow top. I believe Stinger also makes good batteries.

I was never big on capacitors.
