Speaker Polarity

Does anybody know the polarity of the stock speaker wires in the door of an 04 G35 Coupe? I see Red and green in both doors for the woofer and the tweeter.

I'm installing new speakers and I can't find which is positive. I know I have a 50/50 chance but it would be nice to get it right the 1st time.

Thanks

04 Silverstone G35 Coupe

Re: Speaker Polarity

the polarity won't matter if you have them all wired in the same manner. Put another way, if you have all the +'s going to the negative speaker inputs and vice versa, it won't affect anything.

With that said, most of the time, the dominant color wire is considered to be the + one. In the red/green situation, the red would be +. If it was yellow/blue, blue would most likely be +. Hope I've made sense.
