Hi folks

I want fix my jamed cd player on my 03 G coupe with six speed manual. I know the basics of removing the trim but how do you get of the manual shifter **** and then removing the rest of the radio.

I'll just tell you. If you have the CD error and it won't eject cds, it's pretty much done. You can buy a new one or go aftermarket. Welcome to the club, you're one of a seriously large number.

might as well look for a double din kit and a screen

 

Is there a common part that fails? Someone must have opened it up and found the problem or a fix. I have a hard time believing that the only solution is to send it in for repair for $280. Share the wisdom!

 

We've heard from some users that the gears that move the cds are plastic and ultimately and near inevitably, one breaks, teeth snap and it fails to work. I'd fire that engineer.

 

Are parts readily available? If it's a mechanical issue I'm sure that I can open it up and find the failing parts and replace them. Has anyone found a internet site that sells Clarion parts?
