Re: Help Guys - Question about V35 A/C Controller.

Glad to help and thanks for clarifying the location of the sensor. Based on my experience after having my system de-Bosed, I knew that it had to be a disconnected sensor interferring with the systems ability to know whether it should apply cold or hot. I seemed that 60 degrees had to be a "base" level bias for the system to drive from. Basically without the sensor you have an open loop system and any deviation from the base level bias would cause a max level error signal toward cold if below 60 and hot if above.

Hey guys.. this may sound like a stupid question, but if you were to screw up the little green sensor from the Dual Climate control button, couldn't you just as easily take another one of them off from the old AC controller?

Rambo, when I push the a/c button the compressor comes on. It used to work properly until I had the double din installed.

"DHB. Thanks for you help and information. It turns out that there is a temp connector that plugs into the drivers side, right beside your cigarette lighter. You probably have a small vent where it is at. When my installer put the car back together this was left unplugged! So the reason for the A/C Controller acting up. We plugged this back in and it is as good as new again. Thanks again for everyone's help on this. If you should have any questions let me know."

You should check this.

tgenius,

Yes, if you mess up with one little green controller button, you can use another one from your stock ACC, they're all the same and function the same.

How can you mess up that little green button though?!?!??!

not planning on screwing the first one up, but you know what I mean. I'm actually VERY content with the power/performance of the car.. but i'm DYING without my mp3s and my old audio. I love my JLs in the front of my old sentra (XR650Csi Components) and plan on gettin XR525CXi coaxials for the rear doors.
