focal vs cdt vs diamond

focal vs cdt vs diamond
I am in the process of upgrading my system right now and I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about these component speakers. I was looking into Focal, the utopia line, CDT audio with their HD line or ES line, or Diamond Audio with the S600S or the S600A. Which ones would you guys recommend out of the three. Im looking to spend 300 to 400 for a pair of components. Is there anything else out there that are comparable except for MB Quartz.

i have focal utopia 6.5 and 5.25 for the front and rear. But i tell you right now, it not gonna be 400 bucks. They are retail for over 1k. If you want bang for it buck, go with the diamond audio.
I wouldn't recommend you to take any of our advice. The reason is because everyone has a different set of ears, some like bright speaker and some don't. It's all in personal preference. What i can recommend you to do is to listen them and see which one please your ear.

all of the products are good
All 3 of these companies are more popular in Europe. If you read some of the European magazines, you will see Diamond seems to be doing very well. We sell a lot of Diamond.

It's been about six years, but I had some Diamonds and absolutely loved 'em.
Boston Acoustic makes some "Pros" you may be able to get for around $400. (They just introduced some new "Model 60's" that may cost more.) I love Boston's sound.
Any of those speakers, adequately powered, should sound great.

Check out www.thezeb.com, for great deals on CDT Audio speakers. I am getting my CDT CL-61 speakers installed in the front of the coupe tomorrow. First speakers I've bought, sound unheard, so I'll write a review soon.
