HELP!!!! Aftermarket HU with OEM Navi???

HELP!!!! Aftermarket HU with OEM Navi???

I change my HU for a Pioneer PH4000 and now my voice guideance is gone!!! Can I get it to work again???

As far as I'm aware, there is no way to have your voice guidance work in the way it worked with the factory HU... From what my guy has told me, the only way to have voice is to wire into your HU's aux input and then voice will only work when you run aux, or to wire a separate speaker specifically to the navi... hope that helps boss.

I think some aftermarket head units allow for nav integration. Does your head unit have a mute wire? I believe you need to wire the nav unit in like you would wire in a phone. I have no idea if that works with your pioneer though.

yes, if the unit has cellular mute and a hardwiring provision for a phone you can probably do it, although that is increasing rare since bluetooth is so popular now.
i'm sure there are other ways to do it

Thanks all!!! I do have a mute wire. if it only work on the factoru head unit there sound be a wire that goes into the hu. I guess i need to find out what color is it
