anyone have to paint/modify their dd kit to match? help!

I have been told that my dash color, black/graphite, doesn't match any dd kits on the market. Checked with Tony from riverside and he hasn't had any and can't get any. Anyone else have this problem? My car is an 04 base coupe. What has anyone done to match, paint? Keep it with the titanium and go two tone? Anyone with suggestions or solutions please help! Thanks!

I had mine painted by a body shop. He painted the DD dash piece, the center piece, and the piece near the clock/temp display so it all matches. Cost me $40 and it is nearly a perfect color match, except that it's not that sorta-shiny color, it's matte.

I was in the same boat. The install shop sprayed it with a black. Does not look so bad. The only problem is that now it is scratched and I need to touch up. If any has found a spray that matches the Original black/graphite that would be great to know.

They told me to go to a body shop to match paints.. I am glad I did not go 2 tone though.

I recently installed the metra kit and of course it came in silver as well. I took the clock trim piece and the original radio kit to a local paint store and they matched my paint almost exactly. It is a little lighter and it has the sparkles as well. If I would have painted the metra kit black. I also painted the entire center section of the car, i.e the clock, front shifter, and rear console section and no one can tell it isn't factory. So basically I would try a paint store that can color match paint and have them mix up a rattle can for you. Good luck!!
