Hi all,

My G is having an exhaust leak right at the joint between the Y-pipe and my Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust. Given that this is a Canadian car, the Y-pipe is completely rotten.
So i'd like to replace it.
The logical thing to do would be to get the matching Tanabe Y-Pipe. However, 750 canadian dollars is very steep indeed.
Would the megan racing y-pipe be a very bad mismatch? Or are there other, better options?

If there isn't a good option, I will get the Tanabe.

You have a lot of choices. It's a matter of quality.
Then there's the ebay stuff like Top Speed, M2, and Megan.
And reputable brands along the lines of Stillen, Tanabe, or Motordyne.

It's all up to you, it's mostly about quality control imo. The ebay junk has been known to rot very quick, especially with our colder weather and salty roads during the winter.
