I must thank you for all the information you've posted on the slick mod you did to enable on-the-go information input. I wanted to take a slightly different route and go with a toggle switch, however. It seems simpler than the wireless setup and the switch position eliminates the need for a LED somewhere to show status. (Of course my way won't be as elegant as your wireless setup)

You used a 12V 2amp relay, so I'd need a switch that could at least handle that which shouldn't be a problem to get at Rat Shack. Then some wire to be able to place the switch in a more reachable location.

I think the only thing I don't really know is how to get the darned Nav system out? Or what's the best way to get to that VSS wire? Am I missing anything else with my plan?
