key fob question

i have a key fob from a 2004 nissan altima which is identical to the G35's. is there a way i can make the altima's fob work w/ the G? i have no electronic smarts and figured someone on this board might know. thanks

Look on the back of both remotes. If the FCC ID numbers are the same, you can program the Altima remote to work with the G. I forget how, but it is a simple thing that can be done in about a minute.

i checked both key fobs, all #'s match, they are identical.

Now, does anyone know how to convert the altimas key fob to work w/ the Gs?
