I have never done any audio competitions, just always observed. I'm not a bass head but have my system tuned for more SQ. At a local cruise in a guy was offering free metering, so I tried it out to see what I could do. I did 133.31 Db's with my single 10w6 in a 4080 box powered by a 500/1. Back seat was down. Using his bass cd. I got that measurement with his track centered around 50hz.

I believe he was using a term lab meter? Does that sound correct?

They were telling me that it was pretty good reading for the setup I have. The vibrations made my rear view mirror sag lol.
