Newbie question about XM / Sirius

I'm so new I don't even have my car yet! I bought an '04 G35 Sedan with the Bose but its being shipped to me from Florida (I live in the Bahamas). I should have it in a couple of days. I have a question about the satellite radio setup. When I was looking at the car, I saw the "SAT" button on the dash and said to the salesman "Oh, is the car XM ready?" He said that the car was pre-wired for satellite radio but it wasn't actually installed, He said if I wanted to get it installed, a dealer could do it for me and I could choose whether I wanted XM or Sirius. Fine, I guess, but I'm damned if I can track down the right module or whatever to have installed in the car. The Nissan dealer here in Nassau just 'aint gonna have it in stock, so I need to find the right thing and take it to him. So my questions are, was the salesman correct in the way he described it to me (i.e I can't just subscribe?), and if so, who can tell me what receiver I need to buy. I want to get XM. Thanks for any help.

Go to www.everythingg35.com and search for "satellite." You will find what you need at a good price.

yup, the headunit is wired for it. There should be a wire somewhere in the trunk where you need to hook up the receiver and then run the antenna.
